Door to Port to Door

Machinery Shipping From Poland to Anywhere on Earth

A 25-tonne excavator is not a parcel. Getting it from our yard in Rawa Mazowiecka to a job site in Nairobi, Dubai or Rotterdam takes the right transport mode, the right port, and paperwork that clears customs the first time. We arrange all of it — road, RoRo, container and flat-rack — with one point of contact and tracking updates on WhatsApp until your machine is delivered.

The cheapest mode is not always the best value: a saved €800 on freight means little if the machine sits three weeks longer at port. We quote the sensible options and explain the trade-offs for your specific machine and destination.

Road Transport (Low-Loader)

EU & Europe

Specialised low-loader and semi-trailer transport across the EU, UK, Balkans and Türkiye. Permits for oversize/overweight loads, route planning around bridge limits, and driver-accompanied customs for non-EU European destinations. Door-to-door in 2–8 days for most of Europe.

Best for: any destination reachable by road; machines up to ~60 t with permits.

RoRo (Roll-on / Roll-off)

Intercontinental workhorse

Self-propelled machines drive onto specialised vessels at Gdynia, Hamburg, Antwerp or Bremerhaven and drive off at destination. Usually the cheapest intercontinental mode for operational machinery and the gentlest on the machine — no craning, no cutting.

Best for: running excavators, wheel loaders, tractors, trucks; Africa, Middle East, Latin America routes.

Flat-Rack & Open-Top Container

Oversize by container ship

Machines too tall or wide for standard containers travel secured on flat-rack platforms within container vessel networks — opening up destinations with container service but no RoRo calls. Professional lashing and securing certified for sea passage.

Best for: mid-size machines to ports without RoRo service; non-running machines.

Standard Container (20ft/40ft)

Compact & attachments

Mini excavators, skid steers, attachments, spare parts and partially dismantled machines load into standard containers — the most theft-resistant and often cheapest option when the machine physically fits. We handle professional loading, blocking and bracing.

Best for: compact equipment, buckets/hammers, machines shipped with parts packages.

Indicative figures for a mid-size machine (~20 t crawler excavator or equivalent), port-to-port or door-to-door as noted. Actual quotes depend on machine dimensions, vessel schedules and current fuel surcharges — request a fixed quote for your exact machine.

Most customs delays are paperwork problems, not machine problems. Every export we dispatch ships with a complete, destination-checked document set. Scans reach you before the machine moves; originals follow by courier or accompany the cargo per your Incoterm.

Commercial invoice

Issued by ClassTrucks Poland sp. z o.o. with machine details, serial number, agreed Incoterm and price. The core customs document at both ends.

Packing list

Weights, dimensions and any dismantled parts shipped alongside the machine — required for vessel booking and customs.

EX-1 export declaration

The EU customs export document, lodged electronically before the machine leaves the Union. Confirms 0% VAT treatment for export sales.

Bill of lading (B/L)

The carrier’s document of title for sea freight — original or telex-release, sent to you or your clearing agent to collect the machine at destination.

CMR waybill

The international road transport document for EU/European deliveries.

Certificate of origin

Chamber-of-commerce certified statement of the machine’s origin — required by many African and Middle Eastern customs authorities.

CE / technical documentation

Conformity certificates and operator documentation accompanying the machine where available.

Pre-shipment inspection certificate

Destination-mandated PSI (e.g. certain West African programmes) arranged with the relevant agency before loading.

EXW
Ex Works

You collect from our yard with your own transport. Cheapest invoice price; you manage everything from our gate. Fine for EU buyers with own logistics.

CIF / CFR
Cost, Insurance & Freight

We arrange and pay ocean freight (and insurance under CIF) to your destination port. You handle import clearance and onward delivery. Most popular for Africa & Middle East.

DAP
Delivered at Place

Door-to-door: we deliver to your named address; you handle only import duties/VAT. Maximum convenience — common within the EU and for first-time importers.
