Know Before You Pay

Pre-Purchase Machine Inspections That Protect Your Money

The most expensive mistake in the used equipment trade is buying a machine you've never had checked. A €300–900 professional inspection routinely uncovers issues worth thousands in repairs — or gives you the documented confidence to close the deal fast. Our technicians inspect machines anywhere in Poland and across the EU, whether you're buying from us or from someone else.

150+
checkpoints per machine

100%
photo-documented findings
EU-wide
technician coverage

Every full inspection works through six zones with over 150 individual checkpoints, adapted to the machine type — an excavator's undercarriage measurement protocol differs from a combine's threshing system review. Below is the core scope common to all reports.

Engine & Powertrain

  • Cold & warm start behaviour
  • Diagnostic computer readout (fault codes, injector balance)
  • Blow-by and compression assessment
  • Coolant, oil condition & leak trace
  • Turbo, exhaust colour & DPF/AdBlue system state
  • Transmission engagement and shift quality

Hydraulics

  • Pump pressure & flow against factory spec
  • Cycle-time measurements (boom, arm, bucket)
  • Cylinder rod condition, seal leaks, drift test
  • Hose condition & routing inspection
  • Hydraulic oil sample assessment
  • Attachment circuit function (hammer/quick coupler lines)

Undercarriage / Running Gear

  • Track chain, pad & link wear measured in %
  • Sprocket, idler & roller condition
  • Tyre tread depth & sidewall damage (wheeled machines)
  • Axle, differential & final drive oil check
  • Slew ring play measurement (excavators)
  • Brake performance test

Structure & Frame

  • Frame, boom & arm weld inspection for cracks/repairs
  • Pin & bushing play measurement
  • Chassis alignment & signs of accident history
  • Corrosion assessment
  • Counterweight & mounting integrity
  • ROPS/FOPS structure condition

Electrics & Cab

  • All gauges, warning systems & displays
  • Working lights, beacons & camera systems
  • A/C and heater function
  • Seat, glass & interior condition
  • Telematics/GPS hardware presence
  • Hour meter plausibility check against wear pattern

Documents & Identity

  • Serial number vs. documents & stolen-machine databases
  • CE certificate & conformity documents
  • Service history verification where available
  • Ownership title & lien check
  • Emission stage confirmation (Stage IIIB/IV/V)
  • Registration documents for road-legal machines

An inspection is only as good as its report. Ours are written to be acted on — by you, your bank, or your insurer — not filed away:

  • Executive verdict

Clear buy / negotiate / walk-away recommendation with the reasoning, on page one.

  • 60–150 labelled photos

Every defect photographed and referenced to the checklist item — plus video clips of the machine running under load.

  • Measured wear data

Undercarriage percentages, pressure readings, cycle times and play measurements — numbers, not adjectives.

  • Estimated repair budget

Indicative cost ranges for each defect found, so you can negotiate with facts.

  • Identity verification

Serial number cross-check against documents and theft databases.

  • Delivered as PDF

Within 2–4 business days of the site visit, in English (Polish, German or French on request).

Final quotes depend on machine type, location and travel distance — but these ranges hold for most jobs inside Poland. Cross-border EU inspections add travel at cost.

Video Verification

Free

For machines in our own stock: a live WhatsApp video walkaround where you direct the camera — cold start, all functions, close-ups of any area you name. No cost, no appointment needed beyond a time slot.

Standard Inspection

€300–500

Full six-zone, 150+ point inspection with photo-documented PDF report, diagnostic readout and repair budget estimates. The right choice for most machines up to ~€80,000.

Extended Inspection

€600–900

Everything in Standard plus laboratory oil analysis (engine, hydraulic, transmission), extended load testing, and thermal imaging where relevant. Recommended for machines above €80,000, cranes, and late-model harvesters.

Independence guarantee: inspection findings are reported to you exactly as found, including on our own machines. A buyer who walks away from a bad machine today is a repeat customer tomorrow — that maths only works with honest reports.
