The Problem With Traditional Used Equipment Trading
The international market for used construction and agricultural machinery moves tens of billions of euros a year — yet much of it still runs on classified-ad websites where anyone can post anything. Buyers routinely face rolled-back hour meters, hidden structural repairs, machines still under finance, and outright phantom listings that exist only to harvest deposits.
Sellers suffer too: serious fleet owners get buried under low-ball offers and no-show "buyers", while their machines depreciate in the yard. Neither side has a neutral party with skin in the game to verify facts, hold the process together and get the machine physically from yard A to port B with correct export paperwork.
